David Brodie

David Brodie 1943 – 2024

Castle Combe Racing Club is sad to record the passing on Tuesday 17th December of saloon car racing legend David ‘Brode’ Brodie, best known for carrying the iconic legend ‘Run-Baby-Run’ on the front of his Ford Escort 2.1 litre. Brode was a great supporter of Castle Combe and one of the Star Drivers at the 2023 Autumn Classic. We extend our sympathies to Brode’s wife Pegg, family and many friends. A full appreciation will appear in the spring edition of Combe Talk.
